After Crestview

Recognizing that the critical factor for school success is the right match between child and school, we take very seriously our responsibility for assisting students and their families in the admission process and transition to the next school setting.

Our work together begins in the spring of fifth grade with an informational evening for parents, outlining the process. For students, the process begins in the fall when they will have school presentations and tours, a test preparation workshop, opportunities to practice essay writing and interviewing as part of the sixth grade curriculum. Over the sixth grade year, we actively guide and counsel our students and their parents as they navigate the application process and the consideration of the outstanding school options in our community. Individual parent and student conferences with the Head of School help identify the best opportunities for the right match between the Crestview graduate and the prospective schools.
