Mrs. Contreras’ Upper Elementary music classes ended 2023 on a spectacular high note! The way each class came together and performed so professionally during the Winter Concert speaks to the hard work and focus they exhibited during this past trimester. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves for the beautiful way they led us into the New Year.
As we move into 2024, we will continue doing activities that reinforce the concept of working together and listening to each other in order to develop rhythmic control and build ensemble unity. Students will continue singing together by learning songs designed for unison, part singing and harmony. Along with these activities, upcoming units will expose students to Jazz and Blues as we continue instrumental work and exploration.
