Over the past few weeks, our students have been learning about the importance of giving to those who are less fortunate. Through various activities and discussions, they have gained a deeper understanding of the importance of empathy and supporting those in need. From this learning our special service project called "Rock the Socks" came to life. We partnered with our fourth grade Buddies to create thoughtful care packages for individuals experiencing homelessness in our local community. The care packages include hygiene products, cozy socks, and delightful handmade cards. This project has provided our students with an invaluable opportunity to learn about compassion, empathy, and the importance of helping our unhoused neighbors. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
