Physical Education with Coach Alfredo

In Coach Alfredo’s PE class, students are playing a game that was developed by the Iroquois, Lacrosse. This game is similar to soccer and hockey in that opposing teams need to score goals on each other. In Lacrosse, however, the ball is thrown, caught, and carried in a net attached to a long stick. Students learn how to scoop, run and scoop, throw, catch, and shoot during the first week of this PE unit. Next they will have the chance to play games.
