Our fifth graders love spending time with their second grade buddies. The buddy system at Crestview promotes friendship and learning across grade levels and fosters a sense of belonging in our school community. Fifth graders have the opportunity to take responsibility and develop leadership skills when working with their younger buddies. This year, we kicked off our buddy time with an icebreaker called “I Mustache You a Question” in which buddies asked each other a variety of questions to break the ice and get to know one another. This will be the first of many meaningful bonding experiences this school year!
