Fourth Grade

Fourth graders just finished learning about area and perimeter in math. To practice their skills, the fourth graders are creating 3-D obstacle course races! First, they designed the blueprints for the obstacle course layout, making sure the obstacles are spaced out properly with a starting and finish line. They also needed to add essential components of an event this size, such as bathrooms, a first aid center, warm up area, and registration center. Of course, they also needed to design a name, logo, and a medallion for the race finishers! Once their blueprints are polished and ready to build, the fourth graders created a 3-D model of their obstacle course races! It’s been so enjoyable watching the fourth grade display their creative sides while using their math skills!
