Our Crestview Fifth Graders enjoyed celebrating Lunar New Year today. Students made construction paper chain dragons with their Second Grade buddies, then came together to learn about this special holiday from Aaron and David's moms. Students and teachers alike feasted on mango cakes, vegan egg rolls, and homemade dumplings. We also learned about traditions associated with this special holiday, celebrated by people in many different Asian countries. What fun we had!
