Do you have a mystery you need solved? The third grade detective squad is available! We are becoming expert sleuths during our mystery unit in reading. We have been working on being on high alert for possible clues, making specific predictions, and trying to solve the mystery before the character in our book does. As a class, we have been reading The Absent Author by Ron Roy. This story follows the disappearance of a famous fictional mystery author Wallis Wallace, and the team of kids who are on a mission to find him. Students are also independently reading their own mystery books. We are on the case!
