Crestview's Summer Blast welcomes students entering grades 1-6 from Crestview and the surrounding communities. For five weeks of summer, Summer Blast gives children just what they need, room to be kids while playing and learning all mixed up with plenty of fun.

Morning Classes and Workshops (M/T/TH/F, 9 a.m. - 12 noon): With a variety of class and workshop choices, the Summer Blast is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore their interests in fun and relaxed surroundings. Each summer the program includes options in math, science, language arts, art, sports, music, and more.

Optional Adventures

Half-Day Camp (M/T/TH/F, 12 noon to 4 p.m.): Games, activities, and crafts based on weekly themes fill the afternoons at Summer Blast. Water play each Friday ends the week on a cool note even in the summer heat.

Afternoon Special X Classes: A variety of special interest activities such as cooking and drama are also available immediately after lunch.

Wednesday Field Trips (W, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.): These day-long trips to local attractions capture a child's imagination and satisfy their thirst for fun. All are chaperoned by Crestview staff. Each year the list will vary but tradition demands the trips include the beach and amusement parks.

Day Care: Supervised play is available each morning before Summer Blast, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and following the Afternoon Half-Day Camp until 6 p.m.
