The daycare program at Crestview provides a fun, safe, educational, and nurturing place for children before and after school. Our daily routine provides time in the afterschool hours for children to relax, stretch their bodies and minds, and explore their own interests.

Morning supervision begins at 7 a.m. The afterschool daycare program begins at 2:30 p.m. with the dismissal of Kindergarten and stays open until 6:00 p.m. Families requiring daily daycare for their children may opt to enroll in one of 2 day care plans (one ending at 4:00 p.m. and the other at 6:00 p.m.). Occasional daycare is also available at an hourly rate.

Supervised afterschool study halls are available Monday through Thursday for grades 1 - 6 as part of our daycare program. The study halls provide students with the opportunity to get a head start on homework assignments or make up missed or unfinished work before they head home or out to play at daycare. The study halls are organized by grade level so that the period can be adjusted to homework expectations and developmental level. Students not on a daycare plan are charged the occasional daycare rate.

The Special X (special experiences) program offers a diverse list of classes that allow students to learn new skills, discover new abilities, explore their interests, or simply participate in fun activities and crafts. This fee-based program is popular with both students and their parents who might not have the time and access to attend programs beyond the school. Crestview offers eight-week classes including art to technology and everything in-between as well as special one-day classes, typically crafts or activities with a holiday theme. Three sessions of Special X classes are offered during the school year. Shortly before the beginning of each session, parents will receive brochures outlining the many options in the Special X program.
